more birthday pics

On E's actual birthday last Tuesday, we took a special snack to share at preschool (honeybuns!) and then took her to her place of choice for dinner: the mall. She ate a cheese-hot-dog-sandwich from Dairy Queen and they gave her free ice cream for her birthday. She played on the kiddie rides, examined the Christmas displays, and wandered into urban hipster stores to look around (making me feel really out of place!). She loves walking around the mall.

Then on Sunday we had a party: all grandparents, 4 friends of her choice and accompanying adults, plus one of them's little brother. The first part was at the children's museum, just free play, and then back to our house for pizza and cake. Grandma made the cake of E's choice, banana. It was much appreciated. Then we opened presents.
